Water management programme

We support a wide range of water management activities. 

The call for applications is not open; the projects that have received funding are in the process of implementation. 

The aim of the water management programme is to maintain and achieve a good status of water bodies and groundwater and to ensure safe drinking water. 

Activities supported: 

  • waste water treatment and drinking water supply; 
  • cleaning up residual pollution and making pollution sites safe; 
  • non-structural development work and studies; 
  • restoration and maintenance of inland and coastal water bodies;
