The R-Club is a knowledge network and cooperation body for local government leaders, focusing on strategically selected environmental and climate themes, which together can be conceptualised and linked to the implementation of the green transition in the day-to-day management of local governments as well as investment activities.

The R-Club operates under the auspices of the Association of Estonian Cities and Municipalities (AECM) and the EIC, with a rotating chair that is led by the local governments, who contribute in solidarity to the content and running of the club. In 2023, the club will be chaired by the City of Tallinn.

The working format of the club is regular physical meetings.
